Please read the full product description first. Below are questions from questions that are not answered on product pages.
- This Ultraviolet radiation can cause skin and eye burns. Please pay attention to directions and protect yourself. Avoid long term direct exposure.
- While in use, you should not be present.
- For lamps with ozone, upon completion, you should wait at least 60 minutes to let the ozone decompose completely.

What is UVC?
UVC refers to ultraviolet light with wavelengths between 200 – 280 nanometers (nm). Light in the UVC wavelength can be used for disinfecting water, sterilizing surfaces, destroying harmful micro-organisms in food products and in air.
Can your products cure COVID-19?
This has not been proven, nor is something that we will back up. However, UV light has been proven to rid of other infectious viruses.
If your items come from China, will I contract COVID-19?
Yes, this has been asked. The answer is no. You are more likely to catch it from those handling it in the US if anything. Stick with a sanitation process when receiving ANY packages.
Are your products in stock?
Yes. If we run out of a certain product, the product page will show a "sold out" button in which you will not be able to order until re-stocked.
You use to have other items. Will those or more come back?
Once we have more inventory or new items, we will add them to the store. Please check back once a week (or more) to see if and when we have those items you want.
I received the 38w lamp, but the bulb isn't turning on?
Sometimes through transit, the bulb will come out of the socket. You can remove the bulb from the top of the lamp. Then re-insert it to make sure it's secure. This should solve the problem.
Do germicidal lamps kill viruses?
Yes. Germicidal UVC lamps kill up to 99.9% of most viruses, airborne bacteria and mold spores.
Will germicidal UV take care of mold?
Yes. Germicidal UVC lamps will kill up to 99.9% of mold and help prevent future mold growth.
How do germicidal lamps kill?
Ultraviolet light in the germicidal wavelength - 185-254 nanometers - renders the organisms sterile. When organisms can no longer reproduce, they die.
Should UVC lamps be cleaned?
Yes. Depending on the surrounding environment, UVC lamps should be checked periodically (approximately every three months), and can be cleaned with a dry cotton cloth or paper towel. Wear rubber gloves and clean with alcohol only. This will also help maximize lamp life.
Do I need ozone-producing lamps?
It depends on your particular need. Ozone can be carried by air into places that UVC radiation cannot reach directly; In this manner, it helps to "carry" the ultraviolet radiation in the air to where it normally cannot reach directly such as shaded areas that the UVC light cannot reach.
When do I need to use ozone-producing lamps?
Germicidal UVC lamps generate energy at 185 manometers as well as 254nm. UVC emission produces abundant amounts of ozone in air. Ozone is an extremely active oxidizer and destroys microorganisms on contact. Ozone also acts as a deodorizer so it is ideal with people who have allergies to air fresheners or for hard to eliminate odors like mold.
Do these products fit US outlets?
Yes. Any item we sell that comes with a plug has a standard US 110v plug.
Where are your products made?
They are made overseas. To be honest, it's cheaper and allows us to provide these lights at a more affordable rate.
Should I get ozone or no ozone?
That is completely up to you. Ozone will disinfect more areas that the UV light cannot reach. For example, if you place a UV lamp where there are boxes, anywhere the light doesn't touch will not be disinfected (example, behind the box). Ozone will hit those spots that the light cannot. With ozone, you should not return to the room the light is being used for 60 minutes while the ozone returns to breathable air.
Are these products safe to use around clothes and food?
Are these products safe to use around pets?
How long do these products last?
Our 38w products last for about 5000 hours. Over time its ability to kill bacteria will slowly diminish.
Do you guys carry any FAR UVC products?
We do not at this time.
How often should I use your product(s)?
That is completely up to you and will depend on how much activity is occurring in the space you want to use the lights.
